After waiting for a decent fall weather window in Beaufort, North Carolina we finally got a break and are making a run for sunny Florida, our jumping off point for the Bahamas and beyond. We made a 2 day jump from Beaufort to Jacksonville, with an 8 hour rather eventful (see next post) stopover in Jacksonville and then we landed in St. Augustine, Florida.
